Mile High Astronomy Solar Eclipse Glasses are designed for safe observation of sunspots and the upcoming 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse and 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. Affordable, easy to use, and best of all, Solar Safe, 100% ISO-certified.
These eclipse glasses are produced for us by American Paper Optics, the leader in USA made safe solar film. They block IR and UV light—plus 99.999% of visible light. GUARANTEED SAFE for direct observation of the Sun and has been independently tested by SAI Global Assurance Services.
Eclipse Glasses from Mile High Astronomy conform to and meet the transmission requirements of ISO 12312-2, Filters for Direct Observation of the Sun, EN 1836:2005 + A1:2007 (E) for an E15 Filter for the Direct Observation of the Sun and AS/NZS 1338.1:2012, Filters for Eye Protectors.
Important safety note: inspect your glasses before every use. Do not use and discard if the solar film is damaged, torn, punctured, or separated from the frame in any way. Do not use these glasses in combination with any magnifying optical device (i.e., telescopes, binoculars).
Note: We made a typo on the 4-pack map insert! We incorrectly printed ISO 12310-2 in some of the text, when in fact the standard is ISO 12312-2. The glasses themselves are printed with the correct ISO 12312-2 specification and are fully compliant.
